General Education Information:

We are located in Kentucky and therefore must follow Kentucky Education Requirements.  Education is a fundamental right. Rose V. Council for Better Education, Inc. Ky., 790 S.W. 2d 186 (1989). Compulsory attendance laws (KRS 159.010) require that every child between the ages of 6 and 16 be enrolled in school. KRS 159.030 exempts a child from attending public school who is enrolled and regularly attending a private, parochial or church regular day school. Home schools are considered to be private schools in Kentucky, and the laws relating to private schools apply equally to home schools. Each student must attend the same hours as if they were in a traditional public school. Attendance is mandatory with the same amount of instructional hours as if the student was attending public school. Because we are a private school, we can assist with a more flexible schedule as long as it adheres to the required attendance hours.

-Distance learning via the internet will be provided to those who can not attend. A voice enabled computer is required.
